NOTE:  The generated log file is created by the interaction between this script and the command prompt, so the results may be inconsistent.  In order to view the results of the CHKDSK operation it is best to go to the System log in the Event Viewer.  A future release of CHKDSK Assist will give you the ability to easily access the results in the Event Viewer, and will clarify this distinction in the GUI.



  • View Log (Alt+V) – Views the CHKDSK log.
  • Save Log (Alt+S) – Saves the CHKDSK log to a location and name of your choosing.
  • Delete Log (Alt+E) – Deletes the CHKDSK log.
  • Done (Alt+D) – Goes back to the Main GUI.
